I am an integrator, web developer, writer and musician residing in Oakland, California with my husband, illustrator Michael Wertz, and our dog, Blue.
I have built and/or maintained websites for clients including the San Francisco Symphony, the San Francisco SPCA, the San Francisco Arts Education Project, and the Million Cat Challenge, as well as several local independent artists and musicians.
I currently work in Marketing/Communications at the UC Davis Koret Shelter Medicine Program.
For many years, I have hand-coded websites from the ground up for various clients. I have also customized sites built in Drupal, Squarespace, Weebly and WordPress. View my résumé.
At the SF SPCA, I maintained several iterations of sfspca.org, designed and wrote the copy for home page "hero" images, as well as contributing articles to Our Animals, a quarterly magazine, and designing flyers and campus signage.
I play guitar, bass, ukulele and keyboards. I am a member of uke combo Special Ghosts and the ambient/experimental combo, bc3o. bc3o's Library Music multi-channel audio experience was installed at the San Francisco Library for the Blind and Print Disabled from January through March, 2017.
